OPSWAT has opened its first India-based office and critical infrastructure protection (CIP) lab in Bengaluru.
The office will provide engineering and sales support to customers and partners in the region. The CIP lab will enable visitors to test cybersecurity defences against simulated attack scenarios across IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
The facility will also host demonstrations, executive briefings, workshops and meetings with channel partners and system integrators.
“The new Bengaluru office lets us collaborate directly with customers and partners in the region to address India’s growing cyber needs,” said Nith Mehta, India General Manager at OPSWAT. “Meanwhile, the CIP lab lets visitors run through simulations of real-world cyber scenarios, so they can see how our technology performs against the threats they are actually facing.”
Bengaluru is home to enterprises, technology companies and startups across sectors including information technology, biotechnology, aerospace and food processing, many of which operate critical infrastructure requiring cybersecurity measures.
OPSWAT employees, customers, prospects and partners attended the opening on August 19.
